Don’t Miss Dublin: Pitching, Hacking & Pride

Events Don't Miss Dublin

Learn to pitch investors, alternately learn to hack (if pitching fails…) – oh, and it’s PARTY TIME for Dublin Pride in this week’s event guide:

TiE Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp – June 30th, NDRC, Crane Lane:

TiE, the world’s biggest non-profit organisation for helping entrepreneurs through networking and education, bring this two-day event to the NDRC. Expect a crash course in Silicon Valley-standard networking, with 25-30 companies selected at the end to be matched with TiE members.

Wireless Hacking Workshop – June 27th, Tog Hackerspace, Chancery Lane:

How many times a day do you rely on wireless networks, without questioning how they work? If, like this author, you know Jon Snow levels of nothing about them then this workshop is for you. Oh and a disclaimer: ‘This workshop is not intended to teach you to perform malicious tasks on wireless networks.’ Just in case you were getting any ideas…

Mother, the Absolute Pride Block Party – June 27th, Exchange Street Upper:

Given the historic year for LGBT rights in Ireland that’s in it, this year’s Pride is guaranteed to be nothing short of legendary. Over 2,500 people have have already RSVP-ed (click the link above above to sign up), with Dublin club legends Mother taking their party to the streets of Temple Bar with none other than Scissor Sister Ana Matronic on DJ duties.

Here’s a little something to get you in the mood:
