Accenture launches Women In Data Science Accelerator

Accenture Ireland has announced a brand new Data Science course that is promoting diversity and being specifically aimed at women working in STEM who want to explore this emerging field.

Initially, the course will be open to 30 women who are already skilled in data or have a broad numerical experience and it will help them work to further develop their data science skills.

The course is being held at The Dock in Dublin where it will run for six weeks on Wednesday evenings and it will be led by Accenture Labs’ Medb Corcoran.

Speaking about the program, Medb Corcoran said:

“Through programs such as the Women in Data Science Accelerator, we can bring together women passionate about data and analytics, providing industry-led lectures, hands-on workshops, and career guidance to build a career in data science.”
