It’s easy to feel overwhelmed or a little lost at tech conferences – especially some of the bigger ones. NodeConf EU wants to make sure this is never the case at its events by always putting the community first.

NodeConf EU is the key Node.js event in Europe, providing a forum for the Node.js community. It’s a gathering of minds in an informal setting. It offers attendees an opportunity to meet with their friends, peers and speakers in a relaxed, welcoming, friendly and most importantly respectful environment.

Hosted by Tramore-based technology giants nearForm, this year’s NodeConf EU takes place from Sunday the 5th to Thursday the 8th of November in The Lyrath Estate Kilkenny.

nearForm’s competence in conferences has been growing since 2012, when the company organized and hosted the first ‘Node Dublin’ event. Five years later, NodeConf EU is the defacto Node community event globally. The hallmark of these events is their democratic atmosphere: industry giants and community contributors alike become one community and the essence of the event is to break down barriers between people and celebrate the diversity and energy of the community.

There are no VIP’s, everyone is equal and open to answer questions about node or technology, mingle and solve problems together.

The agenda for 2017 has just been announced with speakers from companies such as Google, IBM, Microsoft, Buzzfeed, and many more will be sharing their knowledge through talks and interactive workshops. Extra activities and tours are also part of the conference, giving attendees an opportunity to have some down-time whilst enjoying some of the localities tourist attractions.
