Watch Immediately: Fergal McCarthy’s The Swimmer is now available to watch online. Based on the 1968 Burt Lancaster movie of the same name, Fergal crossed Dublin from South to North through a pathway of public and private pools, canals, the Liffey, and the Irish Sea, finishing at the Martello Tower on Howth Head. Directed by Nicky Gogan and Produced by Sinead Ni Bhroin for Still Films, the film was commission for the Science Gallery Dublin’s Surface Tension exhibition in 2011.

Today’s Dublin Tech News, via Silicon Republic: The National Digital Research Centre (NDRC) has announced the 12th batch of start-ups receiving support at the Digital Hub, as the LaunchPad accelerator continues to shine. Receiving office space in the Digital Hub, €20,000 in pre-seed investment and three months of mentorship, the 10 new residents in Dublin 8 have just been announced – one of the new start-ups sources furniture or décor seen on TV shows, which sounds amazing.
