The deal acknowledges Dublins reputation as a centre for innovation, media, business and technology, with 1200 start-ups, 250 global tech companies and 888m raised in the city last year.
Eugen Miropolski, Managing Director of WeWork, Europe and Israel commented:
Dublins tech credentials and community of start-ups and established companies make it an obvious choice for our next WeWork location, and were looking forward to growing our community here in Ireland.
Beyond best-in-class buildings, staffed by local teams providing support, networking opportunities and events, we know our members value access to wider networking and business opportunities, as well as excellent locations and transport connections.
WeWork has expanded rapidly across Europe in recent years, launching first in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands, and adding locations in France and Spain to its portfolio this year. The company recently announced that, in 2019, it will open WeWork Waterloo, in central London, which will be the worlds largest collaborative workspace.
