Mapping Dublins tech ecosystem, one human at a time.
“Were an Irish business, and theres a great set of resources in Dublin, from accelerators, to incubators, to investors, to developers theres a really good talent pool coming out of the universities right now. Theres also a great network, which if youre smart enough you can leverage to get to where you need to go to. What makes Dublin unique? Its a middle ground between Europe and the US we can go east if necessary, go west if necessary, it feels like youre smack in the centre of the tech world, and thats great positioning.
Were based in Rathmines, its a great old spot we moved here about a year ago, and there are a couple of other companies around us now, the Web Summit are close by, and CurrencyFair are just down the road. Were a little bit away from the spotlight, but very near to town, and a lot of our guys live in the neighbourhood, its very convenient. Thats one of my favourite things about it: I walk to work, I walk to town, I walk everywhere. You cant really do that in a lot of cities. I like the manageable size of Dublin.”
