Dublin Tech Summit continues commitment to close the gender gap in 2018 with women in tech initiative

The gender imbalance within the tech industry is a continued challenge to overcome and in an effort to effect change, Dublin Tech Summit has announced that their Women in Tech initiative is even bigger and better in year two.

Dublin Tech Summit has committed to offering unlimited discounted tickets to women working in tech, anywhere in the world. The two day event, which has just sold out its tier two round of tickets, takes place in Dublin’s Convention Centre on April 18th and 19th, 2018.

Keen to showcase the benefits of gender diversity especially across sectors such as Innovation, FinTech, Big Data, Cyber Security and Music Tech, DTS aims to play host to as many women in technology as possible, both on stage and off.

With a focus on fostering lasting relationships and cultivating an intimate experience for each participant, the two day conference will see powerful and inspiring women address their business challenges and offer a unique viewpoint.

Speakers include: Duena Blomstrom, Chief Growth Officer at Temenos Marketplace, Gina London, Emmy Award Winner & Managing Director of The Pincus Group, Lolita Taub, Partner at Portfolia, Barbara McCarthy, Director of Engineering at Hubspot, Danielle Levitas, Senior VP, Research and Professional Services at App Annie, Joanna Reily, CEO and Co-founder at Censia, Patricia Duchene, MD of European Services at Wrike.

TED Talk sensation Cindy Gallop spoke at the event in 2017 and had this to say on the WIT initiative:

“Women in tech – grab one of these tickets, show up at Dublin Tech Summit bringing your uniquely innovative perspectives and views (and startups that need to get funded), and help prove that gender-equal tech conference environments spark better ideas, amazing conversations, productive collaborations and many more disruptive, world-changing, money-making ventures.”

The discount tickets are now available to all women working within the tech industry and will be offered on a first come, first served basis for a limited time only so don’t miss out! To find out if you are eligible and to purchase your ticket visit: http://dublintechsummit.com/women-in-tech/
