Don’t Miss Dublin: IoT, Money Matters, ID2015 & Funkin’ It Up

Events Don't Miss Dublin DublinGlobe.com

The next seven days in essential tech (and non-tech) happenings:

InterTradeIreland Funding Advisory Service Monthly Regional Clinic, 27th August, NovaUCD:
Part of a nationwide series, this free troubleshooting clinic led by venture capitalist Drew O’Sullivan (which requires registering in advance) will cover fund raising activities, investment pitches and business plan reviews.

Happenings presents Minimum Maximum, 28th August, Civic Offices at Wood Quay:
We love Happenings, who organize cool pop-up events all over the city; they’ve teamed up with essential music blogger Nialler 9 for a series of music shows at the outdoor amphitheatre at Dublin’s Civic Offices, showcasing the cream of the city’s live acts – it all kicks off this Friday with I Have A Tribe, Sister Sister and our new favourite live act, Stomptown Brass. A little something to get you in the mood:

IoT Dublin Meetup #4: Autumn Showcase, 3rd September, Location TBC:
A community networking event, this exhibition will bring together wearables, consumer devices, robots and more over casual drinks. If you’ve been working on a device of your own, now’s your chance to show it off… they’re accepting submissions!

ID2015 Fresh Talent, 3rd September, The Coach House, Castle Street:
If you’ve yet to visit the ID2015 (Irish Year of Design) HQ just next to Dublin Castle, this is your chance. Fresh Talent, as the name would imply, rounds up work from some of Ireland’s most promising young creatives across a range of disciplines.
